Designed for curious children ages 5-10, our STEAM Gardening Class transforms the garden into a living classroom where learning comes to life through hands-on exploration.

 

In partnership with Jordan’s Garden, children will plant seeds, care for vegetables, observe nature’s cycles, and discover the connections between science, technology, engineering, art, and mathematics through meaningful outdoor experiences. Gardening becomes a tool for investigation, creativity, and problem-solving while nurturing a deeper understanding of the natural world.

 

As children dig, plant, measure, observe, and create, they develop critical thinking skills, curiosity, patience, and confidence. Lessons encourage sensory engagement, environmental awareness, healthy eating habits, and an appreciation for sustainable living. Through seasonal projects and hands-on garden activities, students learn by doing rather than simply listening, making each class both educational and memorable.

 

This enrichment program provides homeschool families with an opportunity to complement academics through real-world learning that integrates nature, movement, and discovery.
