Earth day is he perfect excuse to get yourself and your family back outside, to learn something new and maybe even be inspired to take a step towards leading a greener life. There is so much happening in Miami around Earth Day this year, it was so hard to pick a few, but here they are a selection of our favorite events around town:
Get your Green On at Frost Science
Fri April 20- 6:30–9pm; members only. Museum members get a head start on the green fun with exclusive nighttime access to Frost Science and panels on ocean pollution, Miami-Dade’s recycling program and a chance to Adopt a Tree and help restore Miami's coastal habitats.
Not a member? You can still Get your Green On Sunday April 22, 2018 at 9:30 AM - 5:30 PM.
Earth Day at Wynwood Yard
Saturday, April 21st for our second annual Earth Day Festival where The Yard will be celebrating Mother Earth.
This all-day event is open to all ages and will provide a wide range of activities and programming to elevate consciousness, create awareness, and educate our community about green initiatives and sustainability.
Miami Beach Botanical Garden - Earth Day 2018
Friday April 20th. Practice Yoga and Meditation outdoors under the moonlight in honor of Earth day!
Saturday April 21 from 9-2. Volunteer to clean up Biscayne Bay! Have a boat? Boaters needed as well and participating boaters will be entered in a drawing to win a one year boat ramp pass to any of Miami-Dade County Marinas. Do good and feel good!
Earth Day Cleanup at Enchanted Forest Park
For the early risers! Saturday April 28 at 8:00 AM. All ages welcome! Kids and Family activities plus a gift t-shirt.
